The Players
Richard Shaten
has been the house musician at Quivey’s Grove
Stable Tap since relocating from Philadelphia in 1992 to attend grad school
at UW-Madison. During the academic year Dr. Shaten teaches both Introductory
and Environmental Economics at MATC and Energy Economics at the University.
Richard’s repertoire spans 75 years of popular music and includes more than
2,500 tunes, but his "sweet spot" is rock ‘n roll from the 60’s and 70’s.
Richard also plays Friday nights at the Ivory Room Piano Bar, between the
Overture Center and Capital Square.
